In 1949, Canadian sociology student Erving Goffman lived on Unst for one year. He told everyone on Unst he was there to study the economy. He wasn’t. He was there to study everyone on Unst. He used this research to write one of the most important sociology books ever. Now the National Theatre of Scotland needs your help to look at the man who studied our grandparents.
The Young Mentor Initiative gives young woman a chance to be mentored by the First Minister. To enable women to benefit from the programme, Scottish Chambers of Commerce have committed to match some of the shortlisted candidates with mentors in their network, meaning there is even more of a reason to get your application in!!
